What used to be a UK
Just following Sky News and they say youths involved in running battles with the police. They mentioned the figure of 2000, don't know if that is a mistake?
Edit: Figure rechecked, 2000 youths

So we're gonna have a thread for each city?

Why not?

Is multiple threads one for each city that goes up going to overload OcUK servers and result in OcUK being another casualty of the UK riots?

I don't think so.

Anyway on topic, how is it in Manchester, exactly how bad is the riots, is it just a couple of shops burnt down and a few smashed Windows at the Arndale center?

Lolnortherners, trying to take the thunder from the south again.

Get your own news story, monkeys!

There were some scuffles in Bristol last night also, but nothing on the same scale as London, hopefully tonight will turn out to be quieter but I'm not holding my breath...

Manchester is pretty huge however, so I'm not really surprised to hear that it could be kicking off there.

I think that's is a good summary, the Arndale manager is just on the phone with the BBC, he says a couple of shops have been broken into or damaged, Miss Selfridge/Foot locker or whatever that shoe shop is called and JD sports.

Don't think they're running rampant through the centre, but they've tried to break in.
