Trouble installing Windows 7

I have just been trying to install Windows 7 onto my C300. My motherboard is a Gigabyte EX58-UD5. I bought a Highpoint Rocket Raid 620 PCIE add in card for SATA 3.

I have set the disk up as a JBOD array. I then started the Windows 7 install and when prompted selected the driver for the Highpoint card. However when I do this and then select the disk and click next I get the message shown in the screenshot below.

Any thoughts Guys?

if you have multiple drives concatenated to make a single logical, and continuously cant install after creating a new partition, try taking out one of the drives of the JBOD array and install windows to that smaller C: partition, and then have a larger concatenated array as a second D: drive?

The drivers are missing from the W7 database.

Download the HighPoint drivers from here (x86 or x64 depending on what version of W7 you are using):

http://www.highpoint-tech.com/usa/bios_rr620.htm

Unzip these to a USB stick.

Then when you get the same prompt in OP, click on Load Driver and navigate to USB and drivers.

Edit.. changed link ! I just realised you had the Rocket Raid..

I have been trying that. I chose the controller as I thought it was the one that Crucial supplied to benchmarkreviews.com with the drive for review. After re-reading the article it seems that they where supplied the non raid variant. So I am thinking that this JBOD thing is getting in the way. So I am thinking of ordering the non-raid one.

1 SSD only. Once windows is on I was going to add 2 normal drives in a RAID 1 on the on board intel controller. As the card itself only has 2 sata ports.

I can get into the raid util at bootup. This is where I added it as a JBOD array. As they only other choices such as RAID 0,1 or 5 all need more than 1 disk. The JBOD array was suggested by Highpoint tech support.
