Well my problem is that basically when i run anything 3D the clock reset themselves back to the stock values... I havent enabled the ATi Overdrive thing in the CCC by the way.

Any ideas?

My model is the Powercolor 512MB one

Remove CCC (just install the stand-alone ATI Driver), and then install RivaTuner. Overclock using RivaTuner.

CCC severely limits overclocking on my Gecube 3850. I am limited to 735MHz GPU with CCC vs 1005MHz (1.55v pencil modded) with it uninstalled.

edit: you will need to perform a pencil or bios mod if you want to get your core above 800MHz.

Which one is easier/safer? I know how to perform the pencil mod but i am hesitant about it to be honest...

Where can i find BIOSes that work with my card for sure? My card is an overclocked Powercolor 3850 512MB (with the zerotherm cooler).

Thanks for the reply!
