Trouble setting up Ad Hoc network XP

hi all

having really difficulty setting up a wireless adhoc network on the Nc10

i want to connect my iphone to it for use with airmouse. but thats besides the point

right click on my network places, select wireless - right click properties, now apparently in here there should be 3 tabs, general, wireless, advance, well i only have the 2 general and advance so i have no option to setup the ad hoc

am i just being blind and stupid here? never had a problem setting them up before on other pcs etc

ok now i have setup the network, and it was working fine, but today mine laptop (host) wont connect to it..... but my iphone will..

im getting stressed with it now
