Since upgrading to the 2500k, my computer has had a problem with turning on after being in sleep mode.

When you press the power, it gives the 3 beeps that states a memory fault. Turn it off and back on and it boots fine, but its slowwwwwwww until it warms up. Its like an old Celeron with loads of background programs on a cold boot.

Ive read about and some say its the graphics drivers, so I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest, no change.
I then tried my friends RAM, and still no change.

Only thing I can point it at is the PSU, Mobo or CPU, but it boots fine and really quick on a cold boot. Even if I turn it off and back on its fine. Its just sleep mode.

Are you using the latest BIOS?

There are a few reports of the S3 sleep state causing issues with P67/Z68 chipsets and it has be resolved with BIOS updates from other manufacturers.
