Trouble Sycning Monitor Colours

Right, I've got 2 identical HannsG HW191D monitors. I got the second a couple of months after the first and for whatever reason I can't get the colours to match. Everything's the same on both monitors apart from the colour settings. You may think, "well duh, fix it then", but it's weird. They're both on 6500K, however the RGB values for this setting are different on both monitors. Yet still going through the User Defined colours, if I set monitor 2 to have the same RGB as monitor 1, they're still totally different (and much darker for a start). Can anyone shed any light (and colour)?

The chances of you getting 2 exactly the same monitors to match in colour are very slim, if you was lucky and they was from the same batch then maybe they would look very similiar but as you bought yours months apart then the chances are very slim.

I bought 2 dell 2007WFP and both using DVI they are not the same colour, one of the whites looks slightly whiter etc.. If your using one on DVI and one on VGA try them both on the same connector. You can either get used to it or spend a long time tweaking to get them to near match :) good luck!

They're both on DVI. I guess I'll have to spend some time tweaking as it's extremely annoying. Was working on a design in PS, moved it across to the other screen to get some more space and it looked completely different. Some of the light blues looked grey and, urgh! Oh well

I know the feeling, I tend to have apps assigned to one monitor only for the reason or perhaps say not having IE open on the both monitors at the same time. I think it took about 3-4 weeks before I forgot about it thought. If your in to graphic work mind it would be a real pain in the bum.
