Trouble with ex boyfried

Hey my gf is getting grief from her ex and i'm starting to get annoyed and looking for a course of action before anything else.

Basically they split over a year ago now and every so often he will do something to upset her like send a nasty txt or msn. Just now he has put personal things on face party and it's getting to her.

My gf's mum has rung him and he's ignored all knowlege of anything. I have an MSN convo from him saved as well as the face party thing. What steps can be taken as it's upsetting her quite a bit and i'm tempted to go down to his. I mean he has another gf now and he still persists and plays dumb when confronted.

Saw him down town, questioned him and he acts like he's the victim :mad:

ignore him? get his numbers barred? change her phone humber? lots of things you can do.

Take your friends with you, go to his house and terrify his arse (well i meant him not his arse). Then report him for harrasment.

Carefull what you say here. He possibly could have been the victim at one point. Not that I condone his actions at all, but I have been on the recieving end of 2 nasty break-ups now, and yet both GF's have tried to re-make contact in one way or another (just to be spiteful), and yes there have been times I have wanted to do similar to what your GF's ex is doing (however I wouldnt stoop that low).

Just be cautious that he isn't actually just feeling he is venting for feeling like the victim for months previously. Have a little tact is all I can say I suppose.

Hope you do get him to stop pestering her though.

He can't be done for harrassment unless he directly threatens her, the police have more important things to worry about, like people driving cars.

i guess you can try and look at this as a good thing and use it as an excuse to confort your gf, not just say there there and pat her on her head, i mean show her why shes with you and not him or any other guy in the world. could also buy her some present and say its because she is so special to you and you hope it helps even just a little bit in helping er feel better about that k nob of an ex.

if not i guess you can always just send him many fished through his mail box attached with a note, only thing to consider, does he live with family, friends, KIDS? Or even have you many friends? its easy to make a giant feel like a midget with many friends, espcially if he thinks its just him and you, then they appear from no where, like 3 by 3, 3 friends come, then 3 more, then 3 more etc.

Sounds like the best advice. I reckon he's prolly doing it so that she'll still give him some attention. Negative attention is better than no attention for some people.

Actually that is a very good idea, its what I did and it turned out to be the only way to get rid of my ex.

emails and msn has been barred, will get the numbers done. What about face party though? She uses it to talk to friends and does not want lies or personal things being seen.

She got on with her life a year ago after he cheated on her. Went to school with this bloke and he's not a very bright boy at all.

His GF also knows he's a cheat and I think that's what is making him the way he is as he's become more insecure.

I really don't want to fall into the trap of physical means at this moment however tempting but he needs a beating.

Edit: there's only so much comforting I can do, but when it's been dragging on for this length of time it wears off and becomes less effective.
