Trouble with new HDD

Just a quick bit of advice for my new HDD i bought with my new rig. I cant get the HDD to show on windows. The SSD installed perfectly fine but the HDD is shown in Sata port 5 on my bio menus but when windows loads its not shown. Ive loaded device manager and two storage devices are they and shown as working fine but theres no option to format / partition the drive.

Been awhile seen ive done this and think i may of missed a step.

You need to go into Disc management and format and assign a drive letter for windows to see it.

Ah ill give it a bash. I knew it would be something simple had it all apart checking cables and all sorts
