I'm running OS X 10.5.6 on my Mac Pro. This has always worked, but recently during every boot, the apple logo and the logon screen are positioned all the way to the right of the screen, and the image is blurry. When logging on, I can only partially see the menu bar and Dock. When I go to the display settings, the resolution is set to 1680x1050 (the one that I always use). But then I need to select a different resolution and then restore the previous resolution to get it fixed. I need to do that at everytime I boot up my Mac. I've also tried the AUTO-button on the screen, but that doesn't seem to work either...

Yes, I'd suggest zapping the PRAM (I need someone to help me when I do that!).
