I can't seem to play swf (flash) files on my PC properly any more. The audio will skip about a lot and the video will slow then speed up again at times during playback. It makes everything pretty much unviewable. I have tried using a media player, a dedicated flash player, both IE and Firefox. Whether it's online or a saved file they all do the same thing! I have tried scrapping all codecs and clearing the registry etc but to no avail. I don't know when this started and I could really use some help. Thanks!

That happens to be an old favourite of mine too. It was also the stand alone, dedicated player I mentioned in my first post.

I used to use swiffplayer too!... then I found out MPC-HC v1.1.0 plays .swf file easily and cleanly!...

But swiffplayer was designed to play Shockwave video files!!... so give it a try!!. otherwise grab a copy of SUPER and convert em to summut else!!.. thats what I did before finding swiffplayer (and finding out MPC played em too!!)
