okay so i havent used my PC in a while but when i came back to it, it simply wont turn on. the fans churn for a split second then everything goes off.
Things iv tried;
- plug socket and fuse
- disconnected everything other than cpu psu and motherboard (with and without ram)
- used a voltmeter in the end of each connector with the PSU and am getting readings
Possibilities;
- Faulty PSU
- Dead motherboard
Could anyone tell me other things to try to determine the exact faulty component, keep in mind i do not have another system to test each component on. As you can tell i dont want to go and buy a PSU then find out its my motherboard.
