Trove

The video annoys me for some reason, 5% product focus 95% rubbish.

Can't really see how the product is innovative in anyway or am I missing something?

The second video "Trove in action" is 100% rubbish.

Wallet itself looks ok, while I can't quite get my head round the function, it's nice to see something made in the UK. Certainly no worse than the rest of the wallets on kickstarter, at least it's not made of carbon fibre/"aerospace grade" titanium/walnut, and no RFID blocking.

I stopped watching the in action video half way through, it seems their target market are coffee drinking vinyl lovers who think you can work in Canary Wharf wearing jeans, and who don't mind having money fall out the top of their "wallet"

I can sort of understand the utility of it, as I use a business/credit card wallet 99% of the time these days (similar to this). However if you need to carry around a small amount of cash aswell, it's not ideal - you can tuck it into one of the gaps but this will expand it which may cause issues later on.

The wallet I have is convertible - the business card part slips into a cash wallet for when you need to carry more. So this wallet seems to fit in between those two modes.

I don't think the execution is great though in this instance. I imagine it would be reasonably easy to over-expand the elastic over time.

:p Does your wallet have a zip up coin pocket?! ;)

lol yes.. Is this not in? I didn't know there was a trend on wallets. So for a wallet to be trendy you must not have a coin pocket? And probably not held by velcro?

Damn, i must buy the "Trove".

I can't remember the last time I had a wallet with a section for coins! Notes and cards only for me, change goes straight in the pocket.

It seems like Trove may not be the way forward, anyone have any other suggestions?

Most wallets have a section for coins, mine certainly does.
