true fan dedication or complete nut?

I find massive tattoos a bit weird in general, irrespective of what the artist has done. In my eyes it's stupid what this guy did, but no more so than quite a few e.g. punks or goths who do this.

I reckon that Portsmouth fan with the bell is more dedicated ;)

EDIT: This guy..

I think it's kinda cool actually. It's no more than a bit of patriotism, and honouring Escobar is a really nice touch.

The comments on there are ace:
Wonder what he will do when the guys changes clubs...
:o

He is an idiot and will look like a right wally in a few years’ time. All he needs to do now to get his bits coloured green and the girls will love him.

Hmm what's worse, a huge shirt one, or a smaller name for a player who never arrived.

He could have said Kaka was his favourite player, he was the world's best a few years ago.

UR WRONG PAL WERE NOT A BIG CLUB I AGREE- WERE MASSIFF-BIT THE SAME AS UR FROM A DOT OF A TOWN IN A BIG CITY KNOWN AS MANCHESTER HAHA!

*Barfs violently*

Anyone else remember the guy from Newcastle who got the huge Andy Cole tat finished the day before they sold him to Man Utd?

Why get a tat of something as fluid as a player? Love for players comes and goes these days, its rare to have a player dedicate his life to one club now.

Imagine a West Ham fan with Paul Ince inked in?
