TrueNAS Scale temperature warning

How do I investigate the error below:

Device: /dev/nvme0n1, Critical Warning (0x02): Temperature.
2023-02-24 01:38:28 (UTC)

There was a bunch of them in /var/log/error but I'd like to learn how to investigate beyond that. The NVME drive is my cache drive and should not have been in use at that time.

I don’t know how true nas uses the cache, but if you don’t have ventilation around the device it could overheat and throttle which may throw errors like that. I had a 2.5 ssd in an optical drive adapter and overheated in no time during a transfer because it was in a small enclosed space with no airflow.
