Today I rewired my network.

This consisted of running some cat 5 around the house via the attic.

I have all but finished, just need to get some trunking to run the cable in.

The problem I have is that I need to run one piece of trunking vertically down the wall. Around 10ft in total.

The picture rail is about 2 ft down the wall from the ceiling.

How can I go "over" the picture rail but still maintain a tidy job.

Hacking bits out of the picture rail is not an option,

Stop the trunking above and below the rail and paint the cable the same colour as the rail?
That would still look a bit crap I think.

I thought about having two seperate rear parts but one long front part and bending the front over the picture rail
