Am running an Asus X570-E board with 3900x.

Noted advise elswhere that I should always keep the AMD chipset driver as up to date as possible so went looking to find the most recent is 2.04.04111.

I thought before I installed it would be a good idea to check what I have installed at the moment and as I run Armoury CrateI thought it would be easy to check - Ah...

Armoury crate says I am running 19.10.22 (and that it is up to date !!)

Which should I go with ? AND why do they use different number sequences? - Determined to make it as difficult as possible?

Thoughts appreciated :)

Appears to be my day for getting it wrong - Again:(

Decided that it would be sensible to check support at the asus web site for chipset driver to find that although Armoury said I was up to date I was in fact running a driver from June 2019 and that there were listed 2/3 later updates (last one dated January 2020).

I downloaded and installed the most recent (no problems- so far!) but it has convinced me that the Asus Armoury crate program should NOT be relied upon. (it was very helpful when I first built the system but it does not appear to be updated !)

My apologies for wasting anyones time.
