Hi,

I currently have this PSU in my old computer system:

http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=14888

I am looking at upgrading it to:

AMD Dual Core Phenom II X2 555

Corsair XMS3 TwinX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-10666C9 1333MHz Dual Channel Kit

ATI Radeon 5770 1024MB GDDR5 PCI-Express - Retail

Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3

My question is will the Trust PSU above be capable of running those parts?

Tosh.

A decent 400W to 550W PSU (with the watts being biased towards the 12v rail) would be ample for this set-up. Listen to Stulid - the BeQuite 530W PSU is an absolute bargain and would serve you well.

Just looked up the Trust 570W (found a German review)

Here are the specs: 2 x +12V rails with 16 A +3,3V --> 32A, +5V --> 30A und -12V --> 1A.

In short, don't trust that Trust PSU with your PC!

Hi

Thanks for your reply.

I have decided to go with the Corsair PSU for the time being as that should do the job okay. If I upgrade in the future I will get a higher wattage PSU.
