I've used quite a few CD key sites now for some amazing deals, and I think we can all understand why people can find them worrying to deal with, so as long as the mods don't forbid this (only legit, legal key sites will be archived) I thought it'd be a good idea to list sites our members have come across that have worked. I'll start it! If you've dealt with the same sites, feel free to post your experience and it'll be put in the list.

Price comparison websites: [http://gocdkeys.com/index.php] [http://dlcompare.com] [http://www.allkeyshop.com/] [http://cdkeyprices.com/]

Ultimatum Game Keys (UGK) - www.ultimatumgamekeys.com --- 2+ / 0-
- Had three games off them so far, even had a refund with no issues. Fast, reliable, professional. (Omaeka)

- Had only good experiences with these, instant delivery and decent prices. Ordered 3 or 4 games. (Addicted)

GameKeys4U (GK4U) - www.gamekeys4u.net --- 1+ / 0-
- Grabbed Civ 5 Gods & Kings for a fiver, extremely fast. (Omaeka)

World of CD Keys (WoCK) - www.worldofcdkeys.com --- 1+ / 0-
- Grabbed Hitman: Blood Money for less than four quid. Got the key in 2 minutes via Email. (Omaeka)

CJS CD Keys (CJS) - http://www.cjs-cdkeys.com/ --- 8+ / 3-
- Had five games from them now, i had one problem as many others did with their copies of GW2. I think they mentioned that they had bought from a supplier who had got them fraudulently and refunded anyone who asked. I have bought since then without any problems, with good prices on some things. (v1bez)

- I personally know the guy who owns cjs (Corey j smith) he's a very young entrepreneur at 19 and has been running the site since he was 14. I also did some of his support work. And you can thank your truly for his affiliate program and the last bf3 language pack (supergluechris)

- I've used CJS Keys many times, never had a problem, my codes have always been delivered quickly and have worked fine. (Tibbz2)

- I have purchased numerous CD keys from them, including GW2, Mists of Pandaria and several Steam codes and I've never had an issue. A friend of mine got a key that had already been used, so as way of apology, they refunded his money and gave him a new key for free. I would highly recommend them. (Jegethy)

- Ordered BLOPS2 from CJS without issue, fast delivery through their autokey service. Nice. (resiyushin)

- Got Black Ops 2 through CJS and instantly came through and downloading now. (v1bez)

- Never had a problem with CJS, used them 3 or 4 times in the last year or two. (wedgie)

- I have just used them for Black Ops 2 downloading now, they were the cheapes.t (borley)

- Used CJS Cd Keys a few times and been a mixed bag, prices are always good but my Civ 5 key got removed from Steam and two games I pre-ordered well in advance weren't available until 2-3 days after release. I wouldn't have minded so much but they kept changing the ETA on the website and then insisting that their customers had read it wrong so that has put me off as they treated a lot of people like idiots rather than just admit their imported games were delayed. Their website and autokey system is a bit of a mess as well. (ricky1981)

- Poor experience, from delays in getting the actual keys to being refunded due to them never showing up. I had ordered a couple of pre-ordered, with a guarantee of getting the key 3 days before release date, I got my key 2 days AFTER release date. I would never deal with these cowboys again. One of my game was also removed on Steam and took over two weeks to fix. They also do not show a real stock count, so you could be buying a game that is not instock and takes days to be in stock (had this issue also). (Addicted)

- A joke. Avoid! I could tell you about the numerous contradictions on his website, misleading stock numbers, keys turning up late, bogus and/or misleading claims on the "About us" page or support tickets that go ignored or get immature replies but his lies and deletion of customer posts on his Facebook page today showed why he should be avoided. (.Griff.)

CD Key House (CDKH) - http://www.cdkeyhouse.com/ --- 6+ / 0-
- I've ordered once and got my game very quickly, but so far so good. (v1bez)

- Used cdkeyhouse once with no problems and would use them again if the price was right. (ricky1981)

- I've ordered several games from these guys and have had a very good track record. In fact, I had a problem getting DiRT 3 working after installing an SSD and six months after purchase they helped me find the problem and even offered a refund at one point! (trentlad)

- Used CD Keyhouse twice, absolutely fine! (Tibbz2)

- Ordered twice from these guys and received my key within minutes. Recommended. (McGray)

- I've brought 3/4 games from cdkeyhouse almost instant key sent to my email also you can view your keys from the order page of the site incase you ever lose them. Very good site happy to buy from again. (umbomba)

Play SC - www.play-sc.com --- 1+ / 0-
- I used play-sc.com to grab The Witcher 2 for under a tenner yesterday, key was emailed as soon as I'd paid. and they've got excellent Google seller ratings, all seems legit to me, though their prices are very hit & miss.

Intkeys - www.intkeys.com --- 2+ / 0-
- I have had good experience with intkeys so far. (paul cz)

- I've used Intkeys a few times and had no problems with them, keys they provided me with are always legit and still work. (fibby)

Buy Game Code 0 http://www.buygamecode.com/ --- 1+ / 0-

Used these for Fifa 13, Sleeping Dogs and Borderlands 2. Flawless transactions each time. (macca672)

Online Key Store (OKS) - www.onlinekeystore.com --- 1+ / 0-
- Good experience with these guys too, bought keys and had instant delivery. (Addicted)

G2Play - http://www.g2play.net --- 2+ / 1-

Bought Borderlands 2 EU CD key from them, had a bit of a problem receiving my key as the email I used to sign up with and my paypal email were different. They asked for an ID scan to be sent to them. I refused as it seemed very dodgy (and I don't make a habit of scanning my ID to then upload to the internet!!). In the end, they agreed to me changing my account email to that of my paypal email and verifying it. Soon as I did that they sent me the key. Would only buy from them again if the item was extremely cheap. Would give them 5/10. (Dave****)

- 'the pioneers of the gray key market.' Bought Anno 2070 + expansion from them - keys delivered within 5 minutes with no problems. Also bought a couple of Borderlands 2 keys from Simply Games for 11.99 a piece that work perfectly. (Inferno99)

- Bought both Anno 2070 and Gods and Kings DLC for cheap. Very quick and simple service. (Stryda09)

Simply Games - http://www.simplygames.com/ --- 1+ / 0-
- SimplyGames do cheap keys, i bought Fifa 13 there, got the code within 10 Minutes. (Doomedspeed)

For all of us so far yeah, grabbed Hitman 4, Skyrim, Gods & Kings, Dark Souls and Sleeping Dogs all very cheap, they all still work. :p

If you buy a game for £13 from a grey company....how much of that money do you think the devs see?...a pound? sure that helps their development costs for their next title.

Just as much of it as the developers see from any way the game is sold, as it's the publishers who make all the money post-release. Besides, these 'grey' market companies get their stock the same was as places like GAME, PLAY and even OcUK do, then they take their stock and sell the keys from the boxes and bin them, simple. The publishers see a lot more than a pound, anyone would think you thought these were stolen off the back of a truck or something. :p

Publishers dont make ALL the money....and investment in future games depends on revenue taken.

Im not saying that buying it from CD Key sites is terrible....but it does harm the game inustry and you cant deny that.

And they dont get them from Game, Play or OCUk......they get them from game distributors in foriegn countries, that are probably breaking their contractural obligations with the game puplishers selling them to unauthorised companies.

No I mean they get their stock from the same distribution companies that official retailers do, so they aren't dodgey and they don't take money out of anyone's pocket. It's no different to me going down ASDA and grabbing stupidly cheap Dead Island keys and selling them on at a small increase to people I know/on forums/etc. (Dead Island released at about £20 there brand new iirc).

Well as far as CJS goes I've never dealt with them but from what other people have experienced it's either a case of flawless service or an absolute bending over, if they screw you, they'll screw you seriously hard kinda thing.

No middle ground.

People looking for PayDay 2 may want to take a look at buygamecode. I grabbed the standard key from there for £14 and then bought the criminal upgrade on Steam for £5, £19 for the full fat package. Not a bad deal!
