I've recently purchased some Hive TRVs (https://www.hivehome.com/products/hive-radiator-valve?icid=mname:mega-menu.iname:hive-radiator-valve) but they only come with the thermostat part and not the radiator fitting and I have the old type of radiator valves currently.
I'm getting our bathrooms done next month including new rads, so while the heating is drained down I'm going to take advantage and install some TRVs and then replace the tops with the Hive gear.
I've had Drayton vales in the past which I was really happy with, but I'm wondering if it's worth spending that much if I'm replacing the whole top. I can get cheap valves for a fiver each, would these be just as good in my situation?
