I listening to lot of music when surfing the internet , the problems is when on the internet and scrolling down the pages of web-sites the music jumps , when off the internet the music playback is fine . I am playing mp3

What music player and browser?
What's your CPU usage with just the music player going and when you're scrolling?

I am playing windows media player 11 normal brower with Vista , never had this problem before  , even when listening to cd it happends it jumps.

CPU at 14 %

Very odd

When internet is off , music ok

I was thinking my laptop was faulty , spoke to Dell and they said they would give me a replacement

Turn off smooth scrolling in IE and/or install your motherboard chipset and graphics card drivers.

Problem solved.

yup

IE7 is slow as you like

so is windows media player

use winamp lite, and firefox with adblock plus, with Easylist subscription, no ads on websites, faster browsing, and a music player that just plays music

But not so slow as to cause music to halt playing... what we have here is a class-A device driver problem.

I am getting my laptop replaced by Dell anyway :) class-A device driver problem ? its a very odd problem

On firefox does it have the green status bar when you click on a web-site ?

it's on the bottom, little blue one

there's probably a plugin to do that though

once you've used adblock plus, with a subscription, you'll kick yourself

web pages look so ugly with ads all over the place
