Try not to cry!

I was going to say that 15 is well known to be posed/faked. No idea why it's in this list unless the person that put it together is an idiot!

Can someone confirm/deny that this exact post has or has not been made in SC about 6 months ago? I can't find it but fairly sure it did happen.

You could be thinking of the thought provoking images thread? I posted a few in there but it was a while ago.

fieldy -

There are some nice photos in there, however I didn't feel emotionally attached enough to shed tears either.

Thanks for the link though - I enjoyed them.

2, 23, 33 and 36 are the ones closest to making my lip wobble.
Also like 22.

some good photos there

i was surprised that famous one shot in the Vietnam war, with the terrified burned girl running down the road crying, was not included

Edit ;)

Probably a picture Americans would rather forget.
But agreed it should be on there, thats for sure!

Following on from that, i came accross this site. A few more

The "falling man" from the World Trade Centre never fails to give me goosebumps. To imagine how bad it must have been up there, that jumping from that height was the better option... Just doesn't bear thinking about, the horror that went on that day.

Also in the link you posted, the one with the woman after she had committed suicide really shocked me.

Thank you, thought I was going mad!

There are some great pics in the OP link. Very, very moving at times.

No worries. :)

Here's the link for anyone interested in looking. Remember it's in speakers corner not GD, so no arguing, poor spelling or grammar, thread bumping, quoting images, trolling, bickering, running, bombing, petting or general high jinks.

It's of a higher class don't you know.
