Tryin to pick between Graphics card.. help me out pls

System is a

AMD 7450 Dual Core
2gb Ram DDR2 800mhz
Elitegroup GF8100VM-M5 Motherboard. PCIx16 2.0 (Has Hybriid SLI.. dnt know wtf this is..)

Current Graphics card is a really horrible 8400gs.

I try and play wow at 1900-1200 but i get fps jitters even on lostest settings so it leaves me with a headache.

So i need to upgrade it to something a little more decent on a small budget.

First since the chipset of the Motherboard is Nvidia should i stick with Nvidia Graphics card for better compatability? I really want the system to be stable so i wont over clock at all.

Choice of cards available to me are

ATI Radeon HD4550 512mb
ATI Radeon HD3450 512mb

Nvidia 9400GT 512mb

Are these compatable and reliable cards? Are they much of an upgrade?

Ive not really played WOW that much so I'm not sure how demanding it is on graphics cards, but 1920x1200 might be a little to much for the cards you mention.

I would advise you save a little more. Something like a HD4670 *DDR3 Version* would be my suggestion.

Chipset doesn't make much odds both ATI and nVidia cards will run fine on it.

Buy something like a used 9600GT, 8800GT, 4770 etc. Should cost you £25-£35 and will be much better than any of the new cards for that kind of money.
