ok i want to mod a case i have a wee bit, i have removed some rivets from the front of the case (for hdd bay that i took out) and now i have some holes that well i don't want there.

i can cover them over from behide on the inside out of view but what could i just you cover over the front that would allow me to build it up a bit and sand and spray it. really not sure, some sort of car body products or what?

and where could i get it?

EDIT: if no one knows what i'm on about i can take some pics

If I understand you correctly I think you're looking for body putty. It's like pre-mixed body filler that comes in a tube. You scrape some onto the surface getting it mostly smooth then sand it once it's cured. You can then prime and paint with reckless abandon since the surface will be nice and smooth again. You should be able to get it at any auto parts store.

ah cheers, is it cheap enough aye? also would it strength the area slightly?

EDIT: could i cover the whole front panel with it btw, cover any other rivets?

It wouldn't add any strength to the panel since it's just body filler but you would be able to use it on all the exposed holes assuming they're small enough. Think of it like spackle for a wall; you use it to fill minor imperfections before painting. You apply it with a small scraper, a discarded credit card would do nicely, and work it into any holes you want filled. I wouldn't cover the whole panel, just the holes and the area around them. I can buy a tube around here for around $4 so it's not expensive.
