Trying out monitors in person

After doing a fair bit of online research and reading loads of forums posts, I'm still unsure on what sort of monitor would suit me. And as I'm planning on building my next pc around a particular monitor, I'd rather not go through the potential process of buying, trying and returning several monitors.

Does anyone know a place where it's possible to see or even use a variety of different monitor types in person? An expo or something along those lines? I've tried my local no competitors and even the OCUK store, but each of these only have a limited number of models on display, and not all of those seem to have the right feed for the fancier monitors (e.g. HD rather than UHD feed for a 4K monitor).

Cheers!

It'd definitely be my backup solution, but ordering several monitors and returning all but one seems a little excessive if there is a place I can just go to compare a few in person.

I've got to close this I'm afraid as anywhere mentioned will be a competitor almost certainly and therefore against the forum rules
