Trying out my new camera

Just had my Canon EOS 400D arrive last Wednesday, so went out and gave it a go. It's been ages since I really went out and tried to take good pictures. Never really taken many on holiday which is why i got this camera to get back into it all again. Though some turned out ok

I take it these were with the kit lens?

Nice shots, It seems the kit lens is fine in the right hands, it's just that most people new to DSLR don't know how to get the best out of it.

Yes this is the lens-kit with the 18-55mm lens

Not bad at all for a first outing! Number 5 is my favourite, if only it was in the proper ratio (2:3)!
