Hiya

My mate has a 128MB Geforce card, but isn't at home to check which one.

He reckons he paid about £70 for it in 2003, what do you reckon it could be going by that?

I'm guessing FX 5600, but I feel they may have been more expensive back then.

Thanks

It is difficult to guess but I'd suggest it could be possibly even a 4400/4600 or maybe a 5200/5600, it will probably depend on when in 2003 he bought it. Can I ask why you want to know just now rather than waiting until he returns home?

He's wanting to order some components now to get next day delivery, and I'm not sure if his card is up to the task for the slightly lower-end games he plays.

If I'm lucky it'll be a ti4xxx, I just hope it isnt a 5200 :(

Ok I've had a look at an old PC specification I did in December 2003 and it seems that a 5200 was going for approx £55-60 so at £89 he might have got a 5600 unless he paid stupidly over the odds for a 5200. Sorry if that isn't much help. :)

That's cool, cheers *fingers crossed*
