Hi all
I recently decided I would buy a laptop, but with buying a computer there is that annoying thing about to pounce... "Which one should I chose?" I can't decide, I need a laptop for work, my budget is £350-£400 I am mainly focussing on work and home use, mainly home, it needs to be alright at gaming, I want to focus more on CPU and graphics as RAM and HDD can be changed easily, most of the PCs I've seen are dual core, I am not sure if they are sufficient though, the games I will be playing are: Fallout 3, HL2, GMOD and Minecraft, possibly record them with fraps too, any ideas? Remember models only, it violates the rules posting an online store!

Although check the thread underneath this one, I have posted a laptop for £480 with decent specs, sorry I can't link you to it but I'm on my phone :)

By gaming I didn't mean x6 bulldozers or anything like that, just decent specs that can run the games I put in my list and record them, would a dual core cut it though, looking at refurbs in a high street store you can get a decent refurb for £400 but will it game?

I found A HP G5-1306SA At A Supermarket, these are its specs,

The Dell L502x would be the better buy, you can always upgrade the RAM and HDD at a later date.

I have owned a Dell 501x and the Asus N55F

The Dell was the better looking, the Asus had more grunt.
