Hi all,

I've installed Windows 7 (x64)... and during installation I created a partition, that I was hoping I could install Linux Mint on.

Windows 7 install completes fine - I boot with the Linux Mint LIVE bood cd and when I double click on 'Install Linux Mint'.... but it does not bring up any partitions?

Any advice please?

Thanks

mmm are u using HDD off of the motherboard or a RAID card? IF mobo:

mmmm when you said you created a partition what file type did you create?
linux will not work on NTFS file system.

Maybe totally delete that partition(the bit you want for linux from computer management) and leave it as undefined then rerun the setup and see what happens.

I'd rather have linux on a totally different drive with GRUB on that drive
