Trying to dual boot

I have Windows XP on a SATA hard drive and just installed Ubuntu on a IDE hard drive but when the computer starts it does not give me the option of what OS to start and loads stright in to Windows. I installed Ubuntu on another computer and it works fine giving you a choice when you start up but that computer has 2 IDE drives. How can I fix it?

Try setting your IDE drive to be the first hard drive in the BIOS boot options. Same thing happened to me.
