I'm trying to find a monitor primarily for gaming, but there's so many to choose from. I'm looking for one that doesn't feel as "cheap" as my current one, wobbly and made of thin plastic. If that means spending more I don't mind.

These are two that I'm considering, but I'm open to any others

Also do you think it is worth stretching to this one?

I am considering getting that Samsung one, I'd recommend it for you as it's design is sleek & doesn't look as cheap as others despite the good price.

What is your CPU&GPU duet ? I'm asking, because 144Hz monitor requires something really quick, unless you are satisfied with 80, 85 or 100 Hz (whichever mode is supported by monitor).

I've bought Iiyama X2483HSU with AMVA matrix and I am quite happy, except 3 bad pixels it has (not seen in practice) and Iiyama's silence regarding to its "30 days 0 bad pixels warranty" given in another countires.

I just purchased a iiyama too. Mine's the Prolite XU2390 23". Response times average, but picture quality is decent due to the IPS panel it uses and that's always my main concern. I'd swap a bit of lag for colour fidelity any day.

Anyhoo, the AOC G2460FQ 24" is a decent gaming monitor, I read a good few reviews on it when I was looking for a new monitor just the thing I hate about it because of its panel and what reviewers sated about it is you have to view it dead on or the colour starts looking washed out. Plus 144Hz is complete overkill I truly feel.

And Samsung, don't get me started on Samsung, their horribe "panel lotteries" put me off them for life years ago.

I'd just get the BenQ, I've had good experiences with them. 144MHz really isn't needed at all right now. Maybe in the distant future.
