It was from one of the new Nikons

Seem to remember the high ISO performance was absolutely outstanding, everybody on here was absolutely incredulous at how good it looked.

Seem to remember it was one of the cheaper models too, and was a new model. Can't remember the camera to find the thread ?

I'd have thought it would have been either the D7000 or D3100.

THe thread i'm thinking about somebody had literally just bought one. Not touched any of the settings and taken it out of the box and fired off a few shots for us around the house.

They had defaulted to ISO1000 or something and had literally no noise at all ! i was flabbergasted. Only reason i'm looking is because i've now got a friend asking for advice on what SLR.

Was definitely one of the new Nikons. It was in the thread dedicated to the new model that somebody dropped this in that they had bought one.
