i remember a while ago someone posted a link with where to apply thermal paste on differnt cpu's accross the cores. does anyone remember it or have it bookmarked as i can't find it for love nor money

most paste makers sites tell you.

i think only intel cpus is a straight line across the cores

yea pea method is best unless you lap your cpu and heatsink which you probably wont.

make sure when you press the heatsink onto the cpu that you ever so slightly twist the heatsink from side to side
