Trying to find out what ram for NC10

Hi peeps well i have got my NC 10

and i going to upgrade the ram to 2 gig. Does anyone know what spec of ram i need please.

im tempted with windows 7 but i dont know if it will make it mega slow?

There are some people on here with windows 7 on there nc10 but i forgot to ask them what its really like

I have put Win 7 on my NC10 (which has 2GB Ram in it) and apart from the track pad being a bit tempremental its great - wouldnt even consider going back to xp now.

That sounds promising, when you say temperamental. How much? And is it kinda of laggy or jittery?

Most memory makers have a 'Memory Advisor tool' on their website ;-)

yeah im not too hot on memory lol.

So far i have brought memory from the MM, auction site and some from ocukand none of it worked. either wrong size or voltage etc lol

the only thing that was "off" was the verticle scrolling - sometimes did, other didnt. Apart from that it was ok.

Ive stuck some 800mhz Crucial RAM in my EEEPC 1005Ha and it works without issue. The RAM will step down to 667mhz on a N280 system
