Hi,
I've recently decided that I want to get myself fit and healthy. As well as running and the bike, I want to put on muscle.
I've an idea of what I want to achieve but no idea about how to go about doing it.
I've always been slim in build (I'm around 5'10" and weigh 65kg) so I don't want to get big. I'd just like to be more muscular but also toned.
As for the CV....I've invested in some good running shoes and I'll be trying to run at least twice a week, steadily building up how far I run over time. I'm also going to get my mountain bike out again.
What I'm really after is places to start reading about the workouts I should be looking. Also workouts that other people on here have done. Ones that you found work, ones you found didn't.
I understand that nutrition is also going to play a large role. Where can I find out about the right food and supliments etc?
Would Mens Health be a good place to start for general fitness advices?
Sorry if this has been answered a thousand times. I'm a complete noob at this and just reading people's posts doesn't really help when you don't know what they're talking about!
Thanks.
