My mate has bought a WoW year sub thing (waste of money ) and got Diablo 3 for free, she is having trouble with the downloader/installer and it keeps throwing random errors and what not at her. If I stick my D3 directory on a USB stick and then copy/paste onto her PC, will it run fine?

She must delete all downloaded/errored data first. Then you can copy your Diablo III folder from your pc to the location that she wants it on her machine.

Note : Make sure ALL files are present before you copy them over (all should be in the Diablo III folder)

Once copied, run the Diablo III Launcher, update the game if any are available, and login. Have fun.

When I re-formatted my PC, I moved my diablo 3 program files folder to a backup drive, once the re-install of windows was complete I moved the folder back to my C drive and ran the launcher, it worked first time, no problems. To my shock this method also worked with SWTOR!
