Trying to identify an old game

Hoping someone might be able to identify an old game for me, pretty sure it's from the 90's era, unsure of the platform it ran on.

I only have a vague memory of a scene in it were the character is talking to a wizard, I think it was a side scroller RPG as I remember going through dialogue prompts with the wizard. I used an AI art generator to make me some artwork that looks pretty much like I remember it, granted graphically this is probably much higher definition.

Super long shot I know, but it's bugged me for years.

Man, literally 6+ years I've tried to figure out what this game is, and in less than 5 min BAM you have the answer. Thanks a lot mate, just brought back a lot of nostalgia
