Back in January I've tried to migrate away, after I had been with Pipex since the beginning of ADSL (2004?) I rang them up and reqested a MAC code, it was all good.

The new ISP I am going for is Be, as I am after their nice 24mb unlimited usage package that's same price as my current 8mb from pipex. However, after I placed the order and given them the new MAC, I was told the code was invalid  so I went back for Pipex for a double check and was told the code was fine. After going back and forth with the 2 companies, I had no luck (Be said the MAC code got nothing to do with them, since they pass it on to BT, who just rejected the code). I had no choice but to leave it for a few months due to work until now, I've decided to migrate away again, after obtaining a new MAC from Pipex, same problem happen again

Does anyone else had similar problem before? I'm not sure why this is the case... your input would be greatly appreciated. :(

Btw this is the MAC code given to me, from Pipex. Copy & Pasted from the e-mail directly:

LLLxxxxxxxx/xxxxx

Just edited out the numbers - posting your MAC key is a really bad idea.

It's an LLU key, so you must have been moved onto Pipex/Tiscali's LLU setup.

Thanks for the edit

BE* just told me BT rejected it, I shall asked them for more information

If you can't 'migrate' you'll have to cancel, wait for the line to clear and then sign up with someone else.

Probably take 2-3 weeks in total, during which you'll be without internet.

That'd suck :(
