trying to name a film?

hi ppl was discussing old films from child hood and i remembered labyinth (david bowie) but there was another film out around same time which i cant remember name of . it had goblins in and think it was based in a flat and the goblin world started taking over the basement or summin.any help would be appreciated as its annoying me.

yeah thats the one i just wiki'd it to make sure and your right use to love that film to havent seen it in ages apparently their doing a remake for 2009.
