Hey peeps, I have a mITX asus strix and a 8700k.

Now am trying to get it to sit at 1.4v but Vdroop at all LLC levels are causing it to sink under 1.34v or below which just bluescreens me.

However the odd moment it will go to 1.36v and thats stable in benching, Am not sure if its just buggy bios/mITX or something else but what are safe voltage for intel 8700k?

Can I combat it with rising the voltage past 1.4v

8700K with delid 1.425-1.45 fine.

1.375 should be fine on our 5g chips.

I think you have a bios issue. I experienced that know asrock Taichi before they fixed it as Intels llc curve drops voltage upto 0.05V under load. Just set 1.45V for now. When you use high loads it will droop to what you need and 1.4 loaded is totally fine.

I am sure they will fix this in future bios.

Thanks for the reply, I tried but voltage is stuck at 1.392v, Even if I drop voltage or rise it. It will sit at 1.392v. My bios seems very broken to me :C
