Well I'm pretty new to the guitar and I was bored the other day and I just sat down and started having a stab at this and got right through the first bit and onto the second part. I'll show you,

Guitar I
E|-0--2--3--2--0----0--2-----------0----------------------------------------|
B|---------------4--------0--2--4-----3--1--0-------------------------------|
G|---------------------------------------------2--0-----0--2--4--2--0-------|
D|---------------------------------------------------4-----------------4--2-|
A|----------0----2-----------------------------0-----2--------2-------------|
E|-3--2--0----------------3--2-----0--2--0--3--------------------------2--0-|

Got this part all done.

Part II: Fur Elise by Beethoven

Guitar I
E|-7-6-7-6-7-----------------------------7-6-7-6-7--------------------------|
B|-----------7-10-8---------7-----7-8--------------7-10-8---------7---8-7---|
G|------------------9-----9-----8-------------------------9-----9---------9-|
D|----------------------9-------------------------------------9-------------|
A|--------------------7-------------------------------------7---------------|
E|----------------------------7--------7----------------------------7-------|

I get to where it starts in red, but how would i play that as it's done very quick. It's hard to explain but what I'm asking if what to do with my fingers? Do i place 4 different fingers on 4 different strings or would i bar across a fret as i'm only playing one string at a time? I hope this makes sense. Cheers.

Yeh trying my best :) Just listening to R.E.M - Half a world away and this sounds like it would be easy to do.

The first line looks a little like this.

Am G D Dsus4 D Dsus2 Em
This could be the saddest dusk I've ever seen

Would this mean that Dsus4 D Dsus2 Em would have to be very quickly hit together? Would I be able to play this with just the D for now until I am more confident so I can just get the main tune going on.

Cheers :)
