Been fiddling about for about 10-15mins trying to get my OCZ Golds into my motherboard but they don't seem to go down far enough to clip in. I've been trying different levels of force and it just won't fit. If i keep doing it i'll end up breaking something so i though it'd be best to ask you guys.

Do the tabs line up?

As long as they do, and the white clips are not engaged, it does require a bit of force for them to snap in. I push them in until the white clips come inwards enough to click them in place.

the ram has little notches along the bottom these line up with the ram slots, they will only go in one way up.

Have you fully tilted back the clips at either end of the RAM slots?

Are you SURE you are putting them in the correct way around?

What MB do you have?

Are you putting them in the right way around?

Make sure the notch on the bottom of the RAM is in the right position when placing in the slot.

Asus P7H55-M

I'm aware of all that. It slots into the DIMM key fine or whatever, it just won't go down far enough for it to clip in.

push harder.

is the board mounted in the case? usually easier to attach the ram/cpu and cooler outside the case, that way you can support the back of the board while giving the ram a good shove.

Turns out i wasn't pushing hard enough, too scared to damage anything.

Do i put both RAM sticks next to eachother or are they both meant to be in the same colour slots?

What board you using?

Double check the manual this will show the correct slots for dual channel usage.
