Trying to raise an RMA with Dell.

Hi all

Some help / advice please.

A friend of mine has a Dell Laptop which is under warranty (3 year business etc..)

The Laptop has a fault, so he has tried to raise a ticket with Dell. However, Dell have asked for the details of the original Purchaser / Invoice - Which he does not have, as he bought it from eBay.

What can we do?

They should have all the details themeseleves anyway in relation to the serial number, which should be on the base of the laptop. Call them back and tell them about the lack of contact with the original seller and see if that gets you anywhere.
