Trying to re-apply my Gigabyte CPU overclock, but there is no "load profile" option

EDIT: I've reapplied my CPU overclock to 3.8, but my temps seem to be a bit high. 50-55c idle, and 70ish when gaming. (For some reason after i quit, it stayed around 60 idle) When i got this pc it had 2x2GB RAM sticks, and when i changed to 2x4GB it reset my overclock.

Im guessing the increased temps are from the extra RAM. Any ideas on what i can do?

For some reason its idling around 60c now. I think i should probably just put it back to default, dont you think?

60c is way too high for idle. Any ideas guys?

What software are you using to monitor temps?

Core temp

When i first got the computer it was idling around 30-40 constantly (I think) and now the only difference seems to be the extra RAM. Its 2x4gb instead of 2x2gb.

Could it be dust in the computer or something? Or something to do with the extra RAM load on the motherboard?

I'm out of ideas on what to do. My Cpu temps right now at idle are 50-55, but yesterday after i played Metro: 2033 they jumped to 70ish (as expected) then after i quit, they stayed at 60c idle.

You are going to have to have a peek inside with it running, I dunno how else you would check.

What ram and what motherboard, the only thing I can think of with ram upping temps is if the XMP profile was setting some of your stuff to higher than usual voltages.

Gigabyte motherboard. Not sure about the RAM. Any way to check without looking inside the PC?

Also, how do i check if the voltages are higher? Im pretty much a nooby when it comes to this stuff.

Theres no reply, so i haven't even tried. I want to just put it back to default now.. cant be arsed with all of this. Im fine with a 2.8 CPU rather than 3.8, if it means it'll last me another year or two rather than overheating in a couple months.
