trying to reformat windows 7

i set to boot from disk
says press any key to boot from disk
i press any key but windows continues to load normally
any ideas?
I think its something to do with my keyboard as it doesn't work when I tired to load in safe mode previously

Make sure it will only boot from disk.

This may be where you're going wrong...in mine I have the option for cd but also it lists my DVD drive there so you'll want to set it to that

If your keyboards a usb, you may need to turn usb keyboard on in your bios.

i thought that but then how i can access the bios? I have the little green converter thing but it aint working

i cant find how to active it in bios either

Should be in the integrated peripherals section of your bios.

USB keyboard is disabled by default.

edit: Try it because I had the same problem recently.
