trying to remember a game?

Hi,

was just thinking about a game that was out 5 years ago. If i remember correctly the game won or maybe a review said it had a really good in game music just as good as a hollywood film film score.

It was a 3rd person viewpoint and set on a alien world which looked very orange/sandy/bright skies.... and i think for the time the GFX were quite slick.

does this ring any bells of a game that sounds like this?

Yep, Outcast, been racking my brains for the past 10 minutes trying to think what it was called.

Think today's hardware would be powerful enough to run it ?

actually ive had trouble with it, tried about 6 months ago to replay it. Sometimes it would work, others it wouldnt, very tempramental.

And the gfx arent as good when you go back but its still an amazing game!

yep thats the game, cheers. says it was released in 2000 so was nearly right

Edit : Opps, flicked over the last post Was outkast any good? I remember playing the demo and not being impressed....to be fair i don't think i knew what to do at the time
