Hi folks,

I've been trying to figure out what game I'm remembering from the furthest reaches of my memory, and was hoping someone might be able to assist.

The only details I remember are:
  • Almost certainly on the Commodore64.
  • Side scroller in which you played a sort of hunchback figure.
  • Dark, spooky vibes.
  • When your character took damage, his mouth opened and he let out a persistent scream until you stopped taking damage.
That's all I've got! Anyone have any idea what I might be thinking of? Couldn't find it in any of the online C64 libraries....

TIA for any help.

Supposedly
  • When your character took damage, his mouth opened and he let out a persistent scream until you stopped taking damage.
Wasn't a single game thing, but just a general thing from back in the day, so doesn't seem to help with searches.

Thanks both, but no, it's not that!
The Great Gina Sisters, one kinda looks like a hunchback with their funky hair but, I wouldn't say it's dark and spooky, maybe the 2nd level :-/ I'm really clutching at straws here lol

I quickly thought of Frankenstein when you said hunchback figure and spooky, so that’s great to hear! :)
I actually mostly know the game from the Amiga version but I knew there was a C64 version out as well.

The Amiga version is not directly based of the C64 version but rather a similar type game with different levels and such.
The same is true for the PC version (which still uses the same box cover as the C64/Amiga), again with different graphics and levels but all 3 are spooky platformers.

Found my old DOS CD of Frankenstein :)
