Hi,
I have a ThunderBolt2 Lacie Little Big Disk. This is basically 2 x 500gb m2 SSDs.
When it arrived it was set as a 1Tb RAID0 disk. I used disk utility to change it to 2x500gb separate disks.
All worked fine.
I am now wanting to change it back to a 1Tb RAID0 configuration. I've gone to disk utility and tried to use the raid assistant on my iMac (High Sierra 10.13.6).
Each time I try to convert it to RAID0 I get an error message stating, "RAID creation failed. Mediakit reports bad partition or no map found (unmounting proposed new member disk8s1)"
I've tried mounting both volumes / unmounting them - everything, but each time I get the same error message. If I format them as normal both disks appear and can be used with no problems.
Any ideas chaps?
Thanks in advance - Hussman
