Trying to Share a Folder between Win 11 and my Macbook Pro.

I cant seem to get it to work as a registered user and I get this error as a guest: You dont have permission to access this server.
When I try as a registered user it asks for a pasword, but I dont use a password to login into windows, I use a pin and that dosent work.
When on my Mac and under Finder-Go-Connect to server I have my registered user checked,Name then it askes for the password, I take it its the password for th Windows machine.
 
I assume you log into your PC with a microsoft account rather than a local user account?

If so, open Computer Management (compmgmt.msc) and create a local administrator account (or a non-admin account and grant the Share and Folder permissions manually) and try using that from the Mac.

Not sure really, I think I do but I use a pin instead of an actually password
