Using windows 7, I have over 30 gig of free space on my SSD yet when I go to try and shrink it using the in build windows way I get the below - 192mb free?
Any idea? I'm trying to put another OS in the partition and need about 11 gig of space.
as far as i know there is no way to decrease the size of the files further than this, alhtough i would look to see if there are any OS files that are not needed any more like dump files etc.
It may be something to do with unmovable files as it does say there "You cannot shrink a volume beyond the point where any unmovable files are located". That's just a guess though
