Hi,

I've got a problem with something I'm trying to make. I've got some material and a small LED and i'm trying to find a good solution to having the LED attached to the material with a tube. Kind of like a piece of biro pen tubing but with a gripping bit to clip it on to the material.

Does anyone know if something like this exists??

I've tried looking for model shops around me but they're all miles away so thought ordering online from one of the big components places would be good but since they have millions of different things all called weird names I was hoping someone might just say, "You need a widgyclipo 187 rah".

Thanks. ;)

thanks for the replies, the power source is by battery and the wires go through the tube to the led, the material is just cotton. I need the led to protrude about an inch away from the material somehow, just some kind of hollow tubing that the led will slot in to and allow the wires to get in to power it.

Imagine a curtain with leds sticking out an inch, the wires reach the led from the back of the curtain, going in to the tube to the LED. So it all looks neat.
